Hola again
yesterday i got my first drop spindle. i managed to create a small strain of my own wool. perfect wonderful sheep fleece. it isn't a task that for me is easily done, with 3 kids running around, one of them just about walking. so that tiny strand is a huge milestone for me. it has also given me a new appreciation for hand spun fibers :) i plan to tackle more at some point today. while thinking how cool would it be to own a wonderful pair of hand spun/handmade mittens? this coming winter my hands will be super toasty warm!!
